Joshua is an experienced social media manager who loves doing social media for fun and creating impact. He is a self-taught social media manager passionate about creating awareness for product-led companies through user-focused content. In remote work settings, he has worked for top companies across FinTech (B2B & B2C), web3, HealthTech and Construction.

In four years, he has experienced a lot of growth, and one of my proudest achievements is executing a campaign to onboard testers for a Social Media app in the private beta stage. The campaign reached over 87 countries and, as a result, grew the numbers across social media channels. In numbers, 15K followers were added on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, while YouTube clocked 1.3K with 7K website visits. Aside from great copywriting and a clear CTA, the catch is that no incentives were attached to this campaign.

He has experience managing communities and driving customer engagement. His favourite is telling product stories and distributing helpful content across all social media channels for visibility and impressions. He likes to work closely with a diverse, cross-departmental team (Product, Engineering, Community, Content and Social Media teams building products) for collaboration and proper communication.

He is known to adapt to new challenges quickly. His natural ability to connect with people and his talent for understanding what motivates people is unparalleled. He has an in-depth understanding of brands, their audiences, and what makes them tick. This knowledge has enabled him to develop highly effective strategies for growing communities and increasing engagement rates.

He nailed his first speaking engagement this year at a marketing event. During his talk, he shared personal insights and valuable lessons for brands looking to grow. He also mentors young people looking to build a career in marketing.

Aside from work, he is an ardent fan of Manchester United FC. He also likes to connect with his friends outside work.
