Joshua Pucheta
Currently a business student at Saint Louis University, Joshua Pucheta is active in a number of professional and academic endeavors. In addition to having a strong background in customer service, he possesses skills in advertising, promotion, and media production. These skills have benefited him in his work with SLU-TV, the university's student-operated television station, where he previously served as the station's Advertising Sales Director.
Pucheta also puts his skills to use for the benefit of campus fraternities and sororities, including his own. As a member of Sigma Chi , he has served as Promotional Chair, Public Relations Chair, and Treasurer. He also manages Sigma Chi's finances, including a $10,000 budget. Pucheta develops printed and video advertising materials for other Greek organizations at the university as well.
In 2011, Joshua Pucheta received the opportunity to further develop his professional expertise. He completed a summer internship at Ruder Finn, a leading global communications firm with a history spanning more than six decades. Working in the Planned Television Arts Division in New York City, he developed media lists, scheduled radio interviews for clients, and created marketing materials to promote authors. He also gained experience in phone pitching and establishing key relationships to generate client publicity.
Through his on- and off-campus activities, Pucheta has developed proficiency in multiple computer software programs. Along with Microsoft Office applications, he has considerable skills in video and photography editing software, including Adobe Photoshop, iMovie, and Final Cut Pro.
Looking forward to graduating in 2012, Pucheta plans to receive a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in finance and marketing. He is currently participating in Saint Louis University's iLEAD program, which helps students become community leaders.
