Joshua Shuman

After earning his bachelor of arts in psychology from Franklin College in Franklin, Indiana, Joshua W. Shuman matriculated at the Georgia School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University in Atlanta. He passed his doctoral clinical competence examination with distinction in 2004 and obtained his doctor of psychology in 2006. Joshua Shuman subsequently found informal postdoctoral employment as a staff clinician with the Miami County Mental Health Center (MCMHC) at the Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy, Ohio. After Joshua Shuman secured appropriate licensure in 2008, the MCMHC promoted him to the position of staff psychologist.
Later that year, he relocated to Dayton, Ohio, accepting a visiting assistant professorship at the Wright State University School of Professional Psychology. He went on to serve five years as a psychologist with the Dayton Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Josh Shuman currently lives and works in Centerville, Ohio, where he is pursuing a career in associate-level recruiting and sales.
