Joshua Wille is a PhD candidate at the University of Kansas who researches fan edits and media revisionism. His scholarly writing appears in the journal Transformative Works and Cultures and he has contributed chapters on fan edits for two recent books: Fan Phenomena: James Bond and Fan Phenomena: The Lord of the Rings.

Wille created Watchmen: Midnight, an award-winning fan edit that has screened at fan conventions and academic events in the United States, the Netherlands, and Germany. He's also part of the international team responsible for the 90to5 Editing Challenge, an film re-editing competition for five-minute versions of feature films.

Wille.tv is a research-based blog where he shares some of his ongoing work.
