Josh Wingstrom

Dr. Josh Wingstrom is currently the CTO for RED Method, Inc. providing innovations for a broad range of industries. RED Method creates and enhances mobile brand, e-commerce, B2B, and consumer applications.

Prior to joining RED, Dr. Wingstrom was a key Architect/Engineer at Decision Research Corporation in Honolulu, HI where he led DRC Architectural Research and Development.

His accomplishments there include research applications for actuaries and an enterprise services framework. Dr. Wingstrom has developed key geospatial focused applications including contributions to GIS/GPS command and control software in use globally with US and allied defense forces. Additionally, Dr. Wingstrom was project leader for the software systems of the Hawaii DARPA Grand Challenge Team, in 2005, which included GPS based command and control systems for autonomous vehicle control.

Dr. Wingstrom holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Hawaii for his work on utilizing statistical analysis to enable fault tolerant distributed cloud computing. He also holds a M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Hawaii and Bachelors of Science degrees in both Computer Science and Mathematics from the Valparaiso University.
