Josiah Cormier

Hey there! I'm Josiah and I am a first year student at MTA majoring in International Relations and a minor in Political Science. In my spare time I love to cultivate my love for music, specifically the piano. I love to be actively involved in my community while maintaining a high academic standing, it is these quality's that led to me receiving the Lieutenant Governors Award in 2011 for leadership and service in the school & community and commendable academic performance. In High School I was an advocate of young adults by being heavily involved in my schools Restorative Justice program which provides an alternative for suspension. My work with this program led me to being awarded the Tri-County Restorative Justice Youth Award for outstanding performance & valuable contribution to bringing restorative justice into our school. Of course my many experiences could not have been possible without the support of my wonderful family, friends, and colleagues.
