Dolphins are very smart and love humans. They have been able to facanate us in many ways, they also help us with fishing when we are in danger ect. 36 species of dolphins have been discoverd,32 live in the ocean and 4 live in rivers. also they can leap into the air about 30 feet! Dophin skin is very sensitive to human touch also other things that might be in the water.Dophins do have about 100 teeth but they do not use them to eat, they use them to catch fish though. Dolphins do eat 30 lb. of fish a day. The largest dolphins are weighing at 11 tons and are 30 ft long.Smaller ones weigh 90 lb and are 4 ft. Dolphins have excellent sight and can see 10 times better than humans. Like Humans Dolphins can form type 2 diabetes! :( When another animal dies dolphins have shown behavors like mourning. Also noise caused by humans in the water Boats, bombs, ect... That can also harm the Dolphins, it makes it hard for them to find food. That means that some of our dophins can starve.
