Kunst loopt als een rode draad door mijn leven Ik werkte als kunstzinnig therapeute. Ik studeerde Beeldhouwen aan de kunstacademie in Arendonk (B) en volgde veel workshop, zowel in beeldhouwen in steen als in diverse schildertechnieken. Nu werk ik als zelfstandig kunstenaar. Josina van Amsterdam was born in 1942 in the Hague (NL). Now she is living in Eindhoven. From her childhood onwards she is already drawing, painting and claying. In 1989 she discovered sculpturing in stone. She developed her skills in sculpturing and painting through various courses and workshops to get her own (colourful) style. Josina worked also as an art therapist for many years. She went to the art academy in Arendonk (Belgium) to learn sculpturing. She is inspired by the nature and her travelling in her paintings, as well as in her sculptures. Josina takes the spectator into an imaginary world, cosmic and mystic. Her work is a spiritual journey.
She had many exhibitions in the Netherlands and in Belgium. Her work is in possession of people worldwide and also of some organizations in the Netherlands.
