Meet Joulan Khoury

I’m Joulan Khoury, a Licensed Physiotherapist and Personal Trainer with over 5 years of clinical experience in helping individuals reclaim their health through science-based, compassionate care.

My mission is simple: to transform lives by equipping people with the most powerful tool for lasting health—movement literacy.

My journey into the world of physical therapy and human performance began with a deep fascination for how the human body works and a lifelong passion for movement. I’ve always believed that movement is more than exercise; it’s information, medicine, and one of the most intimate ways we care for ourselves. But when performed poorly or avoided entirely, the loss of movement can be one of the most harmful triggers of dysfunction and disease.

Throughout my career, I’ve focused on helping individuals navigate both sides of the physical health spectrum—from acute injury and post-surgical recovery to the chronic deconditioning of a sedentary lifestyle. I’ve worked extensively with patients dealing with musculoskeletal imbalances and dysfunctional movement patterns that drive chronic, low-grade inflammation—a key contributor to persistent pain, joint degeneration, metabolic slowdown, and a reduced quality of life.

But my work doesn’t stop at injury and rehabilitation.

A significant part of my practice now focuses on chronic pain and the fear-of-movement cycle, a debilitating loop I am clinically trained to dismantle. Persistent pain can be overwhelming, frustrating, and isolating; but with the right therapeutic movement strategies and targeted support, it doesn’t have to control your life.
