Jovan Markov

Jovan Markov is a third grade student at Mathematical High School in Belgrade. He is also the initiator of the School Science festival at his former Elementary School “Despot Stefan Lazarević”, also in Belgrade (where he was the best student of his generation). Markov occasionally records and puts videos on his YouTube channel devoted to the popularization of science. He cooperates with the Centre for the Promotion of Science, and last year took part in the Festival of Science 6.0 as a demonstrator and one of the coordinators. In the seventh grade he fell head over heels for Petnica Science Center, during the Summer Science School and after that he attended the Physics seminar. He likes to hang out at regional competitions in physics, mathematics and chemistry. In his free time he writes for the internet newspaper The House of Good News and scientific youth portal Viva fizika.
