Jovianny Lopes

Hello all my name is Jovianny and I’m a student at the University of Washington Bothell (UWB) in the medical and public health field living in Kenmore, WA. My time at the University of Washington Bothell has made it possible for me to strengthen my interpersonal communication abilities along with my management and leadership skills as a health professional.

Gaining my nursing assistant license and being born in another country such as Brazil, made me interested in traveling to other countries to visit lower income communities that need help obtaining basic health necessities that aren’t easily accessible by most families like it is to us.

Along with my passion for the medical field is the beauty industry. Where I hope to begin a project that aims to set regulations as to what goes into the making of all beauty products. I will also aim to see stricture regulations on what is passed by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

I am current a member of University of Washington Bothell 2019-2020 Chancellor's Advisory Committee for Students where I chair for the health studies major.
