Jovida has over 20 years of experience working with groups to creatively address complex questions and develop proactive, visionary, whole-systems solutions. She designs participatory, generative processes and experiential learning to support groups to meet their goals. She has worked with a diverse range of teams, from small restorative justice circles to complex, multi-stakeholder strategic initiatives involving community organizations, public entities, and philanthropy.
Jovida is the coauthor, with Weyam Ghadbian, of the Turning Towards Each Other conflict workbook. With Weyam, she supports teams to increase their conflict transformation capacity through workshops and coaching. She also co-wrote, with Rose Elizondo, a chapter in the anthology: Listening to the Movement: Essays on New Growth and New Challenges in Restorative Justice (Wipf & Stock Publishers, 2020).
Jovida is a Registered Yoga Teacher and has trained in 60/40 Forward Stance, and draws on these embodied practices in her work with groups.
