Jovie is an award winning TV Host and Producer for “On Point with Jovie Calma” and the syndicated Wassup?! Jovie Calma LIVE! show", a columnist/writer, an International Performing Artist, Actress, Model, Jetsetter and tagged as Corporate Powerhouse by Day and Partyphile by Night! As a Philanthropist, she's a REAL beauty activist and Global Ambassador who advocates for suicide prevention and domestic violence.

Born into a musical and theatre-oriented family, Jovie's passion for music and arts can be attributed to her family being involved in the creative craft. She graced the stage at the age of four and at an early age, Jovie was motivated and lovingly pushed to entertain. She has performed at various concerts, festivals and theatre productions in the USA, Asia, Canada, Australia and Mexico as a featured artist and opening act to world-renowned performers. She was blessed to sing for the Saint Pope John Paul II in the 1995 World Youth Day in Manila, Philippines and at the Macrofestival for World Youth Day 2011 in Madrid, Spain.

She is a familiar face in the Asian-American Community in Chicago and Arizona. Jovie earned recognition at the 2010 Chicago Filipino American Hall of Fame for her Most Outstanding Service for VIA Times and CPRTV. She was inducted in the NaFFAA Illinois 2015 Circle of Empowered Women. In addition, she conferred the title of “Starlet Diva” when Chicago-based promotions and publicity company Maven, recognized her as one of the influential and successful Chicago women in Media, PR, Fashion, Beauty, and Performing Arts at the “Diva Series” in 2011. Jovie was also a Recipient of Prism National Award for Women of Style & Achievements, Fashion in Fashion's Model of the Year and a Special Recognition from Ladies of Rizal, USA for her 100% contribution to the betterment of the Filipino-American community in Chicago. Jovie was a celebrity emcee and model at the Latino Fashion Week for Celebrity Catwalk and was featured in CBS 2. She was also one of the resident models for Steve Harvey Show in NBC. She graced the covers of AMOUR Magazine, Tiara Magazine, F Magazine and at Vogue Italia. Jovie was also featured on the Dove digital billboard in Times Square, New York.
