Well established in the film and television production sphere, Joy Kosisky serves as lead producer for Kos Films, LLC, an Atlanta-based private production enterprise. The company employs high-definition digital filmmaking in creating reality television programs, feature films, and documentaries that aim for maximum emotional impact. Among the projects Joy Kosisky has guided are Foreclosure, Inc., a reality series that offers a personal look at the wave of foreclosures that rocked Maricopa County, Arizona.

In 2005, prior to the founding of her current firm, Ms. Kosisky accepted responsibilities with the CNN network as technical director. In this capacity, she ensures readiness of equipment prior to production and directs crew members on lighting and camera angle adjustments throughout the filming process. She also provides control room leadership throughout high-paced live remote broadcasts. Ms. Kosisky’s efforts have earned her the George Foster Peabody Award and an Emmy Award. Joy Kosisky supports a number of nonprofit groups, including the Presidential Climate Action Project, for which she produced a documentary.
