Joyce A. Teal

Joyce A. Teal is energenic, educated, and an awarding-winning speaker with Toastmasters International. As a community facilitator, she easily connects people with people and by providing fund-raising, volunteer coordination, and event planning to promote organizations in the greater Chattanooga Area. Joyce is an accomplished quilt artist creating fabric and thread creations from her original designs and contracts numerous commissions. Conducting workshops and lectures on quilt and thread art and finding your creative spirit, Joyce shares her experience and love of creativity in a variety of venues.

Joyce's background includes many years of teaching music, exceptional education, and students of all ages in a variety of academic and creative areas. Joyce is an active member of the Holmberg Arts Leadership Institute Alumni Association through Allied Arts. Committed to participating in her community, Joyce regularly volunteers her talents as a speaker for Hope Job Support Ministry, creating quilts for The Community Kitchen, The Chattanooga Theatre Centre, Scenic City Women's Network and other organizations.

Her professional experience includes her current radio persona of "Laura Erichson" with Sunny 92.3. Previously, Joyce was the Sales/Marketing/Administrative Assistant for Alkahest Artists & Attractions and the Special Events Coordinator at The Chattanooga Theatre Centre.
