Joyce Lao

Hey, I’m Joyce Lao. I’m an arts administrator/ program manager, an arts educator for many years, performer, director and I create work within the performing arts.

Over the years, I have expanded to indie filmmaking (2012) and experimental theater (2013). In 2022, I started getting involved in producing and developing an AI Immersive Experience, which we now call, “The Waiting Room” Series. This then led us to hosting monthly AI and Art Creator Meetups within New York City.

As an indigenous from the Igorot tribe, I am currently finding ways to showcase global indigenous arts with other indigenous creatives. I am an avid scuba and a freediver, I love to travel and learn about cultures. You can view my portfolio with a click on the button above.
