Smt Joyita Pal Payne, an Author, Senior Consultant & Columnist had been associated with Government of India as an Advisor in Ministry of Culture, Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. Also advised Member of Parliaments & Union Ministers.
Smt Joyita Pal has been nominated for “UMA Samman” for her contributions to the society at large where she extended her hands to the ones who is in need.
Before getting associated with Government, she was the Founder of JPConnect. http://jpconnect.co , which was an international platform for providing employment in India as well as abroad & a platform that would aid in building an educational network for the youth of Bharat. Courtesy to her Father, Shri Nabinananda Pal, who helped her all the way in creating a beautiful global online platform.
Prior to this, professionally she was engaged as a Lead Consultant in AI, IoT & Media Analytics based start ups, mostly working with Founders & CEOs (Advising board members on Policy, Talent Management & Strategic HR).
She started her career with Education and Academic Administration. She was an Associate Professor (Senior Scale) at various educational institutes/ universities including MIT University of Meghalaya (previously UTM) and single handedly Headed School of Management studies and was the sole custodian of Human Resource Department. Further, she contributed to curriculum design and development of various emerging subjects like Event Management, Sports Management, Aviation Management, Design and Development, etc.
Simultaneously, she is a published author, contributed to many articles and books. She indulges in various form of arts since inception. Designing & Painting are her passion!
She takes great interest in art & culture, traditional & contemporary fashion, traveling, writing poetries, cooking, gardening, birds, music & dance, last but not the least sky - gazing! She also has formal training in Bharatiya Classical Dance form, Kathak.
She is drawn to birds, animals and plants. Her kind Family has been rescuing them since ages and provide them with shelter, food & medical treatments.
She has also appeared on national television/ news channels to debate / discuss on issues like Covid, International Relations, Education, Women empowerment, , Prime Minister Modi's educational initiatives, etc.
Smt Joyita Pal voices her views strongly through various articles and columns. She always envisioned a Bengal that would embrace the principles of Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, on that thought she wrote a column, co-authored By Shri Pathikrit Payne, which was published by Dr Shyama Prasad Mookerjee Research Foundation titled, “BENGAL NEEDS TO EMBRACE THE IDEALS OF SYAMA PRASAD MOOKERJEE”, it was published by The Sunday Guardian.

Her article, 'Stree Shakti- Modi's Pride of Naya India' was published in ‘The Nationalist’ by Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee Research Foundation, New Delhi, India.
In the past, she wrote a multi lingual poetry book named ‘A piece of Our Heart' that got published in International Book Fair, 2014. She considers it to be a blessing of her Family. She quoted, “Poetry takes me to the other side of my universe.”
On Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 75th Birth anniversary (17th of September, 2025), her article was published in the special edition by The Sunday Guardian newspaper titled- "The Potpourri of Bharat's Cultural Metamorphosis Under PM Modi”.
Her articles are mostly based on reformative educational policy, student psychology, suicide prevention & various national issues, in order to contribute to the betterment of this great ancient nation.
She also rigorously spends quite an amount of time in shaping the minds of the Yuva Shakti and build their careers.
