Welcome to Epicurean Adventure where I share my appreciation of good food and my adventures around the world. A few years ago, I caught the travel bug on my first trip to Bulgaria. Originally from the Philippines, I also lived abroad in Seoul and now I live in Montreal. I did a month of traveling in 2010 mostly in Eastern European countries, and there I developed an appreciation for local cuisines. My favourite cities are Istanbul, Sofia and Paris. The most random decision I ever made while abroad was taking a bus to Istanbul from Haskovo, a small town in Bulgaria. I was enjoying my drink at a bar and a bus traveling to Istanbul caught my eye. I went to a bus station and got my ticket for the last bus leaving for Istanbul at 2am. It was not in my itinerary, but Istanbul turned out to be the liveliest city during my 1 month trip to Europe. I blog about food, recipes, cafes, places, and with a camera always at hand, expect a blog full of photos as I travel and eat my way around the world.
