Joy is an enterprising makeup artist, stylist, singer/performer, and business owner. As the owner of State of Face Makeup Artistry, she paints faces en masse for wedding parties, commercials, video productions, pretty pretty photographs, and sometimes her friends. As a lifetime learner, she is never satisfied with status quo, abiding by the rules, and going with the expectations. She likes to keep an active eye on self-improvement; both professionally and personally. You may see her out on the town supporting the local arts and music scene or fronting an indie pop band (or sometimes a charity choir or theatre production). But mostly, you'll see her walking her dogs, hanging out with her best friend/husband, and in the context of making people look their best.
