Joy Malin is an artist and art instructor based in New York City's East Village and Brooklyns Bushwick. A working artist for more than 40 years, Ms. Malin creates art objects using a variety of media, including oil on canvas. Her style incorporates both classical techniques and experimental approaches to artistic expression and construction. As an art instructor, Ms. Malin provides a foundation of mechanical skill while mentoring and encouraging students to discover their own unique artistic presence.
