My name is Joy Jackson,and I am a freelance blogger/vlogger, graduate student, and sneaker and urban fashion enthusiast by way of Brooklyn! My mom was the type of parent who woke me up to old-school R&B on a Saturday morning. Yep... That meant it was cleaning day! While my six-year-old self wasn't so pleased, I find me twenty-something appreciating days like those. Being exposed to this music allowed me to discover my creative side. In return, I learned how much of a multi-talented person I was.Music also connected me to fashion, because much of my fashion inspirations come from a variety of music artists. My love for music has helped me learn that while I cannot become an artist myself, I can be the backbone for other aspiring artists through artist management and development.Luckily, I was able to organize all of my interests and passions and begin to develop a brand for myself. Currently, I work with independent music artists to help them with their creative needs, which includes photography and videography and digital art.
