Joy Odinta

Joy Odinta is an Atlassian Jira Administrator and Scrum master with five years successful experience in providing user management and support for 1000+ local and remote users, managing system across groups to ensure compliance and maintain best practices.

She has worked as a Functional Tester/Jira Administrator in the US Department of Treasury, where she tested over 1000 requirement, demoed over 100 user stories to the product owners using Jira tools, created an automation test scripts to test numerous Hard edit requirements and performed functional, integration, regression, smoke and backend tests.

She has also worked as a PMO operator and Jira Administrator in the Social Security Administration at Accenture federal Services, where she co-ordinated and created timely processing of purchase orders, supervised task order financials for multiple project on the SSA, create project plans in Microsoft Project, configured and managed development and testing sandboxes routine application upgrade.

She is excellent in the use of Microsoft (MS) tools, SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Python, Visual Basic, Oracle, MySQL, Jira Query Language (JQL), Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and other Web based applications.

She received her education in Morgan State University with a Bachelor degree in Information system. She is also an Amazon Web Service (AWS) Certified Sysops Administrator. She enjoys travelling and learning new skills.

She resides with her husband and two young children in Owings Mills, Baltimore, Maryland.
