Joy Mann
I am a 20 something, well-rounded nerd who tries to live up to my name on a daily basis. I love to laugh (and make others laugh) as often as possible. I am a clever mix between creative and analytical, and am intensely passionate in my quest to help teach and inspire others to live their life in the most fulfilling way. Teaching others, as well as having the amazing opportunity to learn has been two of the most powerful sources of joy in my life.
Since I have an infatuation with learning, I have become a "Jane Of All Trades." From working in the Financial Department at Stanford Hospital as well as a Patient Advocate at Lucille Packard Children's Hospital to waiting tables to even being a bridal gown consultant (at the ripe age of 15!) I am always searching for challenges that push me to go above and beyond. I guess you could say learning new skills is my biggest hobby!
I have a BA in Mass Media Communications, as well as an AA in Liberal Arts and Journalism. I am self-motivated, ambitious, inquisitive, enthusiastic, quick-witted goofy girl, with strong love for reading, non-fat sugar-free vanilla lattes, the non-profit sector, creative writing, blogging, chocolate chip cookies, painting, board games, social media, public relations, ice-cream, the tech industry, scrap booking, museums, hiking, baking (especially for my dear friends and co-workers hint hint) and an over the top addiction to beauty products and cosmetics. Oh yeah and I may have a slight coffee addiction as well.
