John Patrick Butler
I currently work for MCS Kenny in Aberdeen. I joined MCS in 2008 after initially spending 2 years in the merchant navy working onboard chemical tankers as a Marine Engineer. After completing a Degree in Mech Engineering I spent 5 years with Technip UK Limited, formerly Coflexip Stena Offshore. My main areas of expertise are Project Management, Pipeline design and installation, Power Cable installation, DSV Operations, client interfacing and on-site management of project work scopes. I joined Jacobs Engineering as member of the Client Team for Dublin Port Company. In the role of Discipline Lead Engineer I was responsible for client liaison and management of marine projects at feasibility, design, tender and construction stages. Since joining MCS I has worked on the Project Management and Delivery of various riser systems for different clients.
