Mikaela Mason

Mikaela brings a wealth of experience to the recruitment team having worked in various administration and marketing roles in South Australia prior to being employed as a recruitment consultant in the Queensland resource and construction sector.

Mikaela is the relationship manager for Carmichael Builders and is an integral part of the Workstars’ team assisting with business development and marketing, phone screening of candidates to understand their aspirations, behavioural interviewing, screening and candidate profiling, and placement of the best candidates into roles ensuring career aspirations are met.

With numerous qualifications including a Masters in Public Health, Mikaela believes in continually developing her skills and broadening her cultural understanding. One of her most memorable experiences was as a volunteer English teacher in a small village in Thailand where she had the privilege of living with the locals and learning much about their way of life.

Mikaela approaches her job with sensitivity to the needs of all candidates who come from a diverse range of backgrounds and finds that assisting people into enjoyable and fulfilling employment is the most rewarding aspect of her job.
