With more than two decades of expertise in the cybersecurity domain, I am an expert driven by passion, innovation and curiosity, dedicated to guiding organizations through the complexities of evolving cyber threats landscape. As the Director of Technology & Cybersecurity Strategist at Trend Micro Latin America, I lead the charge in implementing cybersecurity strategies across the region.

My role extends beyond strategy implementation; I am a trusted advisor and evangelist, collaborating with global and regional entities like INTERPOL and the OAS. My focus is on creating and developing cybersecurity strategies, particularly for government, finance, and law enforcement sectors.

I excel in demystifying cybersecurity for business leaders, engaging in keynote speeches, interviews, and consultative sessions for diverse audiences. Additionally, my academic contributions include teaching in a master’s cybersecurity program at two renowned universities in Mexico.

I am also the pioneer behind several influential cybersecurity concepts that are shaping industry practices: The Cybersecurity Compass, Cyber Risk Management Lifecycle (CRML), Continuous Cyber Risk Scoring System (CCRSS), Cyber Risk Operations Center (CROC), and the Cyber Risk Operational Model (CROM). These initiatives reflect my commitment to driving innovation and operationalizing cybersecurity into measurable, proactive practices.
