Hi, I'm J.P., Co-founder & CEO at Mapiary.com, the mapping platform that makes it dead-simple for anyone to create and share rich, interactive social maps. I also co-founded Harpoen, the 2012 WSAm global champion in mTourism & Culture.

I am technically trained in finance and computer science. Lisp, Python and Ruby are some of my favorite tools. I've spoken at WPP Stream, Google I/O Extended Indonesia, and at various startup conference around Southeast Asia. My products have been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Kompas, The Next Web, Daiy Social, e27 and Tech in Asia.

I have a B.A. in international relations from Columbia University (2003), and before that studied design at the School of Visual Arts. Prior to building digital products, I was an emerging markets private equity executive for over 4 years.
