JP’s professional life and much of his personal life has been dedicated to learning how technology can be leveraged to positively impact instruction as well as everyday life. As an educator for over 20 years, he has served in a variety roles from 2nd grade teacher to adjunct professor.

He currently serves as the Director of Instructional Technology for Taylor Independent School District in Taylor, Texas. He coordinates and/or supports all instructional technology in the district and serves as the district Webmaster.

He is a husband and father of 5 kids. As an active member of his church, he serves as the Volunteer Coordinator for Weekend Lunchbox that provides meals to underprivileged students. In his free time, JP enjoys taking hikes with his family, woodworking, and playing racquetball.
