John Pobojewski is an intermedia artist and designer focusing on blending the different mediums of print, motion, web, sound, video, and generative art. John has been a senior designer at the studio Thirst, working with principal Rick Valicenti since 2003.

In 2007, John received unique recognition as one of Print Magazine’s New Visual Artists: 20 under 30. In 2009, he formed Moving Design together with Rick Valicenti, which creates initiatives which fuse design research and art.

As a musician, John has performed across the United States, as a founding member of the Base4 Percussion Quartet, with duo Nothing in Common, and as part of Mark Applebaum’s Metaphysics of Notation project at Stanford University in 2010.
