João Paulo Vani is taking his Ph.D. course as a Literature student at UNESP, Campus of São José do Rio Preto. He holds a B.A. and an M.A. from the same university. His Master’s degree was a study on the novel Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close (2005), by Jonathan Safran Foer. His recent publications include an article “Oskar on his last recognition expedition as way to avoid the oblivion: an analysis of Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close, by Jonathan Safran Foer” (Tema, 2015); and two book chapters “From photograph to smartphone: understanding about video production process and equipment handling”, In: See, do and live cinema: experiences involving a University Extension Project.
