One year into Ms. Watkins reign, she represented Texas Southern University and went to the national competition for all HBCU's, in The Miss Collegiate African- American pageant. It was in Los Angeles that year that she once again took the crown! And was named Miss Collegiate African American 1996-97! As Miss Collegiate JP took her message of education, community and spirituality nationally and internationally speaking to elementary, junior high, high school and college students across the US, South Africa and Zimbabwe speaking about," Believing in your own Power!!"JP is a member of The Church of Christ and has been a featured guest and speaker at many Church Youth events, Ladies Days, pageants and programs across the country. One of her biggest honors was to become a 2010 inductee into the Southwestern Christian College Hall of Fame!Also in 2010 Ms. Watkins was introduced to the industry of Network Marketing. Previously JP had been in and around the field of property management for over 16 years and was able to retire her position as the Director of Sales and Marketing at the Unified Property Group, due to her success in the field of network marketing. Her 1st company Organo Gold Int. helped to lay her foundation in the industry. It is here that she attributes much success as a top Sapphire consultant to her mentors Tyron and Angelia McDaniel who helped her develop and lead a group of over 1000!Most recently Ms. Watkins has partnered with a ground breaking company called Paycation Travel where her mentor Donald Bradley helped her become the first Diamond Consultant in Texas. I never thought I could enjoy waking up when I want, going to sleep when I want, doing what I want, when I want to do it before the age of 40.
