I am a Christian, a wife, a mum, a teacher. I facepaint and I run.

I am a bit of a walking contradiction:
I love to wear pink and “flowy skirts”. I love drawing butterflies, picking daisies, and listening to the piano. I love candle light or a fire place and am a major sucker for romantic things… however, I equally love getting dirty, building/ maintaining a vegetable garden, playing rough sports, wrestling, biking and taking an adventure to some place unknown.

For the most part, I enjoy my profession. I like kids, to read, to learn, to craft and to journal/blog. The more I teach the more I realize what an impact (good or bad, which can be scary) I have on children, and people in general.

Life is fun, it's hard, and it's short. I try to make the most of it.
