My girlfriend and I recently returned from a shoestring-budget trip that spanned two and a half months and four countries (it could be considered five, depending on how you feel about Catalan independence) including the UK, Spain, Morocco, and Greece. That was the greatest adventure of my life to this point. I tested physical boundaries such as: how far I could walk, how much I could carry, how hot my brain could be while still functioning well enough to read a map, how close I could be to charging and rearing horses without flinching, and how deep I could dive in the clear blue water of the Mediterranean.
Now that I'm back home, I'm testing myself in new ways. I'm pushing my boundaries in home repair skill (with some humorous, but mostly positive results). And I'm leaping into my career to test my professional skills in new ways. I'm currently working with small business clients (I have room for one more!) as an independent online marketing consultant, and I'm on the lookout for a full-time opportunity where I can translate consumer insights into innovative marketing strategy.
In all of this, I plan to keep reading the landscape around me and pressing on with tenacity and a positive attitude. The adventure continues...
