Everyone is nerdy about something. Every single person in the world has at least one topic that they are capable of talking about, in great detail, for hours on end. Nothing makes me happier than hearing someone describing the thing that they love. I love everything. I'm a designer by schooling, but a chef, homebrewer, cyclist, rock climber, card shark, dart thrower and sports fan by passion. I want to talk to you about why one yeast strain is superior to another for your beer and show you how easy it is to cure bacon; I want you to tell me about rocket ships or sailboats or whatever it is that makes you tick. I want to tell you how the Mets broke my heart in 2006 in exchange for you telling me all about that summer you were unemployed and made cupcakes for everyone in the neighborhood. I want to know what makes you tick because I believe we can make each other smarter. Nothing is off limits. Let's play catch.
