For 11 consecutive years I attended the same sleep-away camp in Milford, Pennsylvania. For those 11 years I was able to experience and learn things I would have never imagined, and things that I could not have done anywhere else. My camp was filled with people from all over the world. Each country represented allowed for a new opportunity to get to know a different culture and way of life. I have met people from England to Israel and Japan to Russia. I consider everyone I have met a friend and hope to someday get to visit where they are from just like they have had the ability to come to where I am from.

Confusious once said, "choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life" and he was right. I loved my job. While some of my friends from home were stuck in an office all day I was pulling kids around on a boat, playing basketball, and getting a nice tan. I loved working with kids and I loved interacting with my co-counselors. The memories of camp are ones that I will never forget.
