Our family business was started in 1960 by Jack Perkins, we have been serving Scottsdale and its vicinity continuously since that date. We are the longest operating family owned business in this area. All of us at The J.R. Perkins Company love to serve our neighbors and we do our best to treat everyone like family. Commercial buildings and restaurants were our initial customer base. That has since grown to include residential repairs and replacements. Air conditioning system diagnosis, repairs, ductwork design and remodeling, Indoor Air Quality diagnosis, and complete system engineering and replacement are the mainstay of our current business. Jack retired from the business in 1995 leaving the company to his son-in-law, Rich Larsen. The legacy of outstanding customer service and superior technical knowledge lives on today thanks to continuous process of improvements and education. Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) is becoming more important to our customers. At J.R. Perkins, we are striving to become excellent at recognizing and correcting IAQ issues such as mold, carbon monoxide, particulates, carbon dioxide, radon gas, and VOC's. J.R. Perkins Heating & Cooling has come a long way since 1960. With 6 technicians, a full time office staff and a centrally located Scottsdale office/warehouse, we intend to continue to provide our customers with the service and respect they've come to know from us!
