My passion for technology is what drives me to create truly new things. I strive to understand it at all levels, from cloud services to bare silicon. I view software and hardware engineering as an inherently creative process. And it is through that process that I seek elegant solutions, so that the whole is truly greater than the sum. I attempt to inspire others to share my enthusiasm for such creative and elegant technology solutions.

My diverse background brings a breadth and depth of experience in software development, electrical engineering and IT management. After completing my undergraduate work in Computer Science and Computer Systems Administration, I went directly to work in network engineering and systems management and eventually into technology consulting.

Upon the completion of my Master of Science in Computer Information Systems, I expanded my consulting efforts to focus on software development and embedded systems design. These efforts led to the co-founding of Campground Automation Systems in 2007.

Over the next 5 years, I led development of a comprehensive technology platform including custom hardware and reservation management and transaction processing software. Focused on the specific needs of the recreational camping industry, the cloud-based Sunrise software platform has grown to meet the needs of some of the highest-volume premiere campgrounds in North America.

Following the success of Campground Automation, I now head up hardware and software development for XOEye Technologies, a wearable computing startup focused on wearable technology solutions for business customers.
