Jessica Schwartz
Dr. Schwartz is in the process of completing a yearlong residency at New York University to become a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. Nationwide, there have only been 912 graduates to participate in The American Board of Physical Therapy Residency and Fellowship Education programs since the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) began credentialing in 1999.
Dr. Schwartz is proud to be an alumnus of Ithaca College where she began her career in Exercise Science and Coaching. Her love of sport, exercise, and helping people led her to become a Board Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Dr. Schwartz decided to continue her education and was awarded her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Dominican College.
Jessica has had an array of athletic injuries over the years- including two knee surgeries. Because of this, she has the ability to combine her understanding of rehabilitative medicine with the empathy she has for her patients. Her genuine interest and passion for the field of Physical Therapy is infectious. Jessica is able to make her patients smile even during the some of the most challenging of treatment sessions.
Jessica grew up and currently resides in the East Village of Manhattan. When Jessica is not practicing, she can be found riding her road bike all over the country, reading the latest technology blogs, visiting family and friends up and down the East Coast, and playing with her two new puppies Bailey and Bella.
