I grew up in Lawrence, KS, but became a jeweler instead of going to KU. After a brief failed life in St. Louis, I moved to Kansas City where I discovered college and picked up an AA with honors and an honors award in English, then went on to earn a BA with honors in Ancient and Classical Studies from Earlham College.

Now I spend my days fixing jewelry, my nights writing novels, and I stop to take photographs every time someone will stand still long enough to do so.

As an artist, I am devoted to myth, ritual, and the exploration of identity.
