Hi, I have been out of school for 5 and a half years and just started my own CPA firm. Someone once told me that the most important ability is not knowing everything, but being able to quickly and effectively find out the answer. This is very true in business. Many times we are confronted with an unknown and often our response is despair and resignation to the unknown. Battling the unknown is an exciting challenge and why I started my own firm.

I believe that in order to be effective in life you must always continue to learn and grow. Many people believe this, however many people also become stuck in the rut of only learning in a particular field or area. The key to solving problems is to have the perspective and experience from many different areas and many different systems. Knowledge is useful for those wonderful cross-pollination ideas that occur. Being a well rounded individual that reads extensively facilitates this process. This is where value is truly created for individuals and groups. I am excited to be venturing into the business community and look forward to sharing my ideas and expertise with you.
