I am studying elementary education at Frostburg State University. I am taking additional middle school classes and also specializing in science. This semester I am in block one of phase 2 and will have a 15 day assistanship. While I was attending Allegany College of Maryland I spent a lot of time in the field and working with students. I am excited to do more of that this semester. In the future In the future I want to further my education by getting a masters degree in special education. During my free time I just like to relax, which doesnt happen as often as I'd like. I enjoy watching Netflix while scrolling aimlessly through Pinterest, or drinking coffee and reading a book. I also really enjoy traveling. In this past year I have been to Arizona and California. My current job is with a great agency that supports people with mental illness. Working with these amazing people who are suffering with these disorders has really helped me to grow as a person. The knowledge I have gained will not only help me in my daily life now but also as a future educator. After working with this agency is what what made me want to futher my degree to a masters level with special education.
