J. S. Oxford

London, ON

Originally from Northern Ontario, now living in Southern Ontario and soon to be attending UWO for Library Studies.

My life is made more lovely my a wonderful boyfriend, ridiculous cat, and many plants.

Most of my time is spent reading (anything I can get my hands on, from fiction of many kinds, history, travel, science, mythology, garden and nature), knitting, and writing (fiction, mostly). I'm slowly working towards being published, but currently, my focus is on creating characters real, lovable and hateable.

In my spare time I run both a blog and an etsy shop, and you can visit both here:

My joy in life in learning— everything and anything, fictions and non-fictions, how to paint, how to knit, how to garden, Egyptian history, this history of British Rail, what Queen Elizabeth II does in her spare time, how cathedrals were built— you name it. If there is a gap in my knowledge (or rather, where there is a gap in my knowledge), I love to fill it, and fact-checking is a part-time job.

I enjoy watching things grow from seeds, eating produce from my garden, cooking and sharing recipes, sharing books, and walks in the park.
