My Strengths: One of my most prominent strengths is positivity. Looking at the best in everything that I face is very important to me. I live every day with the intentions to make it the best day. To me, without positivity I would not be able to get through life. With each challenge I face, I look at I look at the positive side rather than the negative side. Focusing on the negative side of things will only make things more difficult to get through.

Time Management Activity: When completing the time management activity I came to realize more and more where my time was going. I realized that I was spending more time socializing with friends during the day than I did on homework. With that I then had to stay up late to finish my homework, which was depriving me of homework. By planning out my days, I learned how to be more responsible with my days so that I could be more productive. I have since taken the techniques and made daily calendars for myself to be sure that I structure my day to be sure I get everything out of my day that I can.

Lessons from a First-Year Buckeye: When writing Lessons form a First-Year Buckeye, I discussed my first semester in college. I made many mistakes during my first semester and I learned from them. My time management skills were lacking. I also severely struggled with balancing meeting new friends and completing my school work. In high school, my life was very structured so I was able to complete my work without severe procrastination. Therefore, when getting to college I had plenty of time to procrastinate, and I did just that. My completing this assignment and discussing all of the lessons that I learned helped me realize that I never want to make the same mistakes. In the future, I will buckle down and know when it is time to do work and when it is time to have fun.
