Now I have more time to pursue my creative side outside the classroom. I am rediscovering how much I love creating works of art. I love to weave baskets using a variety of materials such as; rope, yarn, metals, silk, paper, reed, wood, and more. I am finding it very rewarding to learn new methods and techniques to create jewelry. I get to design and customize rings, earrings, bracelets, and necklaces to my customer wishes and needs. It never fails to thrill me to see some one wearing one of the pieces I have created or hearing how much their piece means to them. It is all part of why I so love sharing my art with others.
