Justin Taylor

Some random facts about me:

-Born in Brandon, MB August 17th, 1984 as second son to Anne and Harry Taylor.

-Mom was a teacher. Dad was a businessman, specializing in retail management.

-Lived all over Canada as a small child, finally settling in Ontario in 1988.

-Started playing piano at age 5, taught myself guitar at age 11, the drums at age 14, and the trumpet at age 14.

-First part-time job at McDonald's in 1998 at age 15.

-Stayed with McDonald's for 6 years, forming many relationships with customers and co-workers, some which last to this day.

-Was in High School concert band (trumpet) and jazz band (on guitar) all throughout high school, which included performing two shows in Philadelphia, PA in 2002, giving me my first taste of performing in front of a live audience.

-Performed in numerous bands throughout my teens and early 20's, gigging all over North America.

-Studied business and customer service both personally and academically (Sheridan College-1 year in Sales/Marketing).

-Enjoy making new friends, talking with and listening to people.

-Have written and performed on 5 independent film scores for students at Mohawk College.

-Released my own solo albums and continue to work on my own music in my free time.

-Enjoy studying the economy, finance, and globalization.

-Technologically adept. Always trying to find new, exciting ways to do things.
