Joshua McIntire

Hello!

First and foremost, I am a student. I will be until the day I die, and I hope the same is true for you. In addition, I am a husband, a dog-dad, a great friend, and a thinker who often doesn't realize he is singing aloud whilst writing, reading, or doing both simultaneously. I am happiest when I am engrossed in and swept away thinking about education, the future, and where we're headed.

Second, I am an education expert. From K-12 through higher education at all levels, I deeply understand two fundamental things:

- how humans create and share knowledge
- how to create spaces and foster cultures, organizations, and practices that facilitate deep, rich learning, creativity, productivity, and motivation

My mind works at the intersection of research and practice where the big picture is the sum of its details and creativity is limited only by finite resources. I am an intuitive thinker and ground my work in research. I am a gentle leader with a strong following.

I truly believe I can change the world for the better with the time I have here if I can work with good people on worthy projects that will create more knowledge, expand access to learning, or improve a current system or practice.
