Jessica Triggs
Student Support Specialist in Mount Ayr, Iowa
Employee, co-worker, student, mother, wife, sister, aunt....I guess you could say I'm a jack of all trades - master of none :)
I started out my life thinking I wanted to work in the health industry (ultrasound tech or OBGYN nurse), and ended up in Student Life in Higher Education. Although this was not a place I imagined myself 10 years ago, I can't imagine working somewhere other than higher education.
I find fulfillment in working to tackle projects and tasks, and helping students, faculty and staff solve problems.
One of my true professional passions is in personality. I have a great interest in helping others discover their strengths and identify how to use those strengths in conjunction with their unique personality to benefit them not only academically, but professionally as well.
Outside of my office you can find me in a boat on a pond or lake fishing with my family, in the middle of an empty corn field shooting my bow at a bag target, watching Food Network (Love me some Food Network!), snuggled in my lazy chair reading a good book (currently working on the Game of Thrones series :) ), or crocheting.
