I grew up in the middle of the forest on a beautiful estate. But contrary to what may seem, we were anything but rich. It’s these contradictions in life where I feel comfortable with and it got me thinking at an early age: people are not interested in facts, it’s all about interpretations. That has led to my tendency to constantly put things into perspective. In my photography I try to give expression to that by showing another side, regardless of any prejudice. It’s for the viewer to contemplate.
