My name is Juan Leonel Cantu, I was born in Monterrey, Mexico, two and a half hours away from San Juan, Texas, my place of living. I am double majoring in Economics and Finance on the College of Business and Entrepreneurship of UTRGV and working as a Student Mentor for the university. Throughout my college career, I have learned not just the academic skills necessary to succeed in the business world, but also the professional and networking skills that will bring me the best options in the future. Fortunately, in these years of college I have had the opportunity of meeting great people through the different student organizations I have been part of. This past academic year, I served as president of the Association of Latino Professionals For America (ALPFA) in which we were awarded as Organization of the Year. I am also a brother of Phi Iota Alpha fraternity in which acted as secretary and public relations chair the past years, as well as being a member and treasurer of the Economics Society. Some day, I would like to open my own business, but also get experience on investment companies to increase my knowledge about the business field.

Soccer is the sport I love, being Tigres UANL (from Monterrey) my favorite team, music is my way to relax, entrepreneurship my goal, travel my dream and movies my hobby.
