I grew up in Mexico City one of the most populated cities in the world, but spent most of my summers in Chino California with my grandparents. Learning my abuela’s (grandmothers) cooking techniques in Mexican-American Cuisine, that gave me an early appreciation for the passion of cooking. Growing up in a large family, with my mom that had a flair for delicious meals increased my knowledge of cooking and the love for food.

After careful thought I decided to finally pursue my true passion, of becoming a chef and enrolled to CSG culinary school in Mexico City.

My first break as a chef was at the Camino Real Hotel & Resort in Can-Cun Mexico. I spent my time there studying the food of the Yucatan peninsula, sharpened my skills and had the opportunity to view business world from different angles.

I use my experience and training to enrich the lives of my staff. I set high standards and stick to them. I lead by example and work side by side by with my staff to earn their respect.

I’m committed to excellence as a chef, an educator and a citizen. I have more than twenty five years of industry experience from stewarding, chef, and a business leader. I am results oriented and work collaboratively to solve challenges.
