I grew up in Mexico City, one of the most populated cities in the world but spent most of my summers in Chino California learning my Abuela's (grandmother's) cooking techniques on traditional Mexican cuisine which gave me an early appreciation for the passion of cooking. Growing up in a large family with my tias (aunts) who had a flair for delicious meals increased my cooking knowledge and my love for food.

My career began early on, inspired by chefs and their love and respect for quality and tradition after careful thought, I decided to finally pursue my true passion of becoming a chef and to seek new opportunities to further develop my own creativity.

My first break as a cook was at the Camino Real Hotel & Resort in Can-Cún, Mexico. I spent my time there studying the food of the Yucatan peninsula, sharpened my skills, and had the opportunity to view the business world from different angles.

Featured on multiple charity events and participant in the 1st season Food Network show called “Vegas Chef Prizefight” back in 2020.

I like to use my experience and training to enrich the lives of people I work with. I set high standards and stick to them. I lead by example and work side by side with my staff to earn their respect.

I’m committed to excellence as a chef, an educator, and a citizen. I have more than twenty years of industry experience. I am results-oriented and work collaboratively to solve challenges.
